Eitherway, I think your would go nicely with these amps and I think the Muffuletta would do nicely too, although you might want to consider a slightly more mids oriented distortion, like the Rat or OCD.
Will a Rat go well with that amp? I was thinking of maybe an ehx soul food or a zvex box of rock.

I run a Reeves C PS. Will grab the Waza Blues Driver he has held for me. Imagine how much evolution has occurred until the manufacturer reaches HELIX including the software for editions on your computer that is far more advanced and user friendly than this one on the video … Follow the link: The Rat and other mids oriented pedals goes well with amplifide but you might want to roll back the mids on the amp a tad.
Fascinating article, and I love the site! It makes my TD-X sound like total garbage, almost like a really bad synth lead tone from a Yamaha keyboard, but like a really cheap Yamaha keyboard!
The transition from clean to distorted also tightens up with negative feedback. I run a fender bassbreaker 15 dry with a modded peavy classic 30 wet the mod has made the amp way more clear and crisp but ooverdriver with a fairly pronounced mid range which I believe is reminiscent of older tweed amps.
One for clean, delays, wah, whammy and compression. So, the whole rig seems to be oriented around tubes, mid range and compression, which will give you that sliky smooth tone, with rich sustain without having to use that much gain or distortion.
The grid regulates the extent to which plate voltage is increased. Power tube grid leak resistors are usually a much smaller resistance value than preamp grid leak resistors k or k vs. Thank you for the response, also wondering if you think my fulldrive 2 in vintage mode, should sound alright with this traynor. I just wanna say thank you again for all you do man.
Knowing which pedals to choose for your amp |
If you want to see a truly different circuit, check out Mesa's Mark series. In layperson's terms, a musician will plug a fuzz pedal into a tube amp that is being "cranked" to a clipping overddriver condition; as such, she will get the distortion from the fuzz which is then distorted further by the amp.
Even order harmonics 2nd, 4th, 6th. I was working on Mother tone and found some use of Twin Reverb, Amplfiied think. I have now been playing seriously for 38 years, yet still learn something every time I open this page!!!! Sorry for my very late reply. Now I know why.

You just clarified a lot of info in my mind that I can now actually make sense out of if that makes any sense at all… Great post! But ovefdriver, I think any of these pedals will go nicely with the amp.
What you get is basically trying to replicate a cranked to hell Fender: Hi Bjorn Great article. The Bassman, although more mids than typical Fenders, has much less mids than say a Hiwatt or Marshall. So asymmetric signal voltages have a DC component overfriver will charge capacitors and cause voltage drops over resistors which can cause grid bias voltage excursion. Ampilfied will always say that the original and old stuff is better, for whatever reason. Under certain situations I love the way a fuzz sounds into a Fender or Vox amp.

This makes so much sense. Im also curious about the vox classification as being in the fender camp inspite of being british. I have noticed that my Musket works better overall on my Tweed Blues Jr.
A pF bright cap is in parallel with the upper resistor to allow high frequencies to bypass the resistor to keep the tone bright. The Overdrivver Screamer has lots of mid range and compression.
